Richard Smoley, author, has more than 30 years’ experience studying and practicing esoteric spirituality.  His latest book is The Dice Game of Shiva: How Consciousness Creates the Universe.  He is executive editor of Quest: The Journal of the Theosophical Society in America and editor of Quest Books.

Rev. Dr. Kara Hawkins, educator, is a life-long apprentice of the traditional Grandmother Ways of American Indian Spirituality. A musician, poet and singer, she is a ceremonial leader, serves as the American Indian Spirituality Faith Member on the Greater Kansas City Interfaith Council (GKCIC), is Secretary for the Heartland Chapter of the Alliance of Divine Love, Inc. (ADL), and was a monthly contributor to the ADL’s Dayspring, writing Kara’s Korner--American Indian Spirituality from 2004-2009. Russell Buddy Helm, teacher, has toured and recorded with many great musicians, from The Allman Brothers to Frank Zappa. Jiayi Xiong, artist, is a freshman at the Rhode Island School of Design for the class of 2014.  She is a 2010 graduate of Rock Bridge High School, Columbia, Missouri. Her artwork,  “Uncertainty,” is featured in the movie trailer.

Rev. Dr. Vern Barnet founded the Greater Kansas City Interfaith Council in 1989. His Wednesday Kansas City Star column began in 1994. Civic, Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Hindu, Buddhist and other groups have honored him, and an annual "Vern Barnet Interfaith Service Award" was established in 2010.
